The right pump kit depends on how you fill your caravan, camper trailer or RV water tank.
If you fill your tank through the standard external water inlet, the Adventure Pumps Universal 12V Water Transfer Pump Kit is suitable for most setups.
Some caravans, including certain Jayco-style setups, may have a larger drain line with a camlock connection that can support a higher-flow filling setup. If you are unsure which option suits your caravan, contact Adventure Pumps and we can help you choose the right setup.
The Universal Kit is designed to make filling your caravan or camper trailer water tank simple. The supplied filling adaptor connects to the pump hose and can be inserted into your caravan's standard water filling inlet.
Depending on your caravan setup, other connection methods and fittings may also be available.
Adventure Pumps' standard water transfer kits are designed for fresh water and salt water.
They should not be used for petrol or other flammable liquids. Standard water transfer kits are also not designed for diesel. Adventure Pumps does, however, offer selected pumps specifically rated for diesel transfer, so always check the individual product specifications before use.
We do not recommend routinely pumping untreated creek or river water due to the potential for contamination and debris to enter or damage the pump.

Selected pumps available from Adventure Pumps are specifically rated for diesel transfer, including certain Seaflo 12V pumps.
The standard Adventure Pumps Universal Water Transfer Kit should not be used for diesel. If you need a diesel transfer pump, choose a product that is clearly identified as diesel-compatible.
The Universal Water Transfer Pump Kit is designed for wide-neck jerry cans with an opening of approximately 40mm, including containers such as the Pro Quip range.
Jerry can sizes and openings can vary between manufacturers, so we recommend checking your container before ordering or contacting us if you are unsure.
The Adventure Pumps Universal 12V Water Transfer Pump can transfer water at approximately 10 litres per minute in a typical setup.
That means a 20 litre water container can generally be transferred in around two minutes. Actual transfer times can vary depending on hose length, height and your individual setup.
Yes. We can ship Adventure Pumps products Australia-wide.
If you are travelling, Australia Post Parcel Collect can be a convenient option. This allows you to nominate a participating Post Office as your collection point instead of relying on delivery to a caravan park or campsite.
If your caravan park accepts deliveries, you may also be able to have your order sent directly to the park.
Yes. Adventure Pumps sells individual pumps as well as complete pump kits, replacement parts, hoses, fittings and accessories.
This means you can purchase a complete ready-to-use setup or build a system around equipment you already have.
A continuous-duty pump is designed to operate for longer periods without requiring regular cooling breaks.
An intermittent-duty pump is designed to operate for shorter periods before being switched off and allowed to cool.
Duty ratings vary between pump models, so always check the specifications and operating instructions for the individual pump you are using.
From time to time, hoses, fittings or other components may change slightly depending on supplier availability.
While colours, brands or styles may vary, Adventure Pumps selects components based on quality, suitability and reliability and will not intentionally substitute inferior components.

Clean your Adventure Pump using cold or lukewarm water with a very small amount of dishwashing liquid if required.
After cleaning, allow the pump and components to dry thoroughly before storing them.
Yes. Adventure Pumps offers different 12V power connection options and adaptors, including Anderson plug, alligator clamp and 12V socket connections.
Check the connection supplied with your chosen kit and select any additional power accessories you need for your caravan, vehicle or camping setup.
Adventure Pumps pump kits are backed by a one-year warranty against manufacturing faults and component issues when used as recommended.
Pump kits are also factory tested before dispatch so they are ready to use when they arrive. You may notice a small amount of residual moisture in a new pump or hose as a result of this testing.
