The factory alligator clamps on the pump lead are removed and replaced with an Anderson plug on the pump lead. The Alligator clamps are then also fitted with an Anderson plug so as to provide a back up power source option should the Anderson plug on the Caravan or RV fail IE you can operate the pump from the vehicle or RV battery if needed.
